For patients that have an extensive medication list it is very time consuming for the patients to have to scroll through the entire list to get to be able to enter a medication starting with "Z". It is also difficult to limit the medication list in Open Dental as we live in a society that is dominated by prescribing medications. Please make the medication list with some type of predictive text option. I apologize if I am not using the correct term. My goal would be for the patient to be able to start typing the name of the drug and have YAPI searching the list of medications in the dental software and either make a drop down of those medications starting with those letters or suggest the most commonly used one. This would allow a patient to only type perhaps the first three letters of a drug and then have potential matches listed below. This would be similar to using a search engine. This would allow longer lists in the dental software but also speed up the paperwork process. I spoke with Davontae Henley regarding this idea Ticket #113853.

We are having this exact problem. It is extremely frustrating. My staff came up with the same idea, and then I found this post. This is something that should absolutely be added as soon as possible! Please!!

I agree with both of these post. The medication list needs to be more user friendly. It take our patients over twice as long to fill out the Yapi forms on the iPad than it did by paper. The medication list is part of the problem.
